Metamorphica - Bad Unkl Sista

Went to the Metamorphica drawing event last night for the first time. Very cool. Lot's of awesome costumes. I'd never really seen Butoh dance before. It makes for very cool imagery, especially in person. It's pretty surreal. They have these every couple months or so. I'll definitely be going to more of these.

Gold Rush

The Gallery Girls finally made it back to The Bay. Had a good time as usual, but was feeling a bit rusty since I haven't been doing a lot of life drawing lately. Hopefully now that the weather is getting better I'll be doing a lot more.

Fly away

Just messing around trying some newer brushes I've made. Got an idea for an illustration that has some birds in it. We'll see how it pans out.

Year of the Tiger

I've been super lazy with posting this winter. Hopefully I can get the ball rolling again, and get my ass in gear. A couple sketches of tigers from ref.

Jessica Alba?

Just messing around with some new brushes in Photoshop (as well as my old fave the flat directional brush). Used some Jessica Alba ref for this one; trying to stylize a bit. Unfortunately it doesn't really look like her though. Meh.

Vespa

Just messing around in Photoshop. I really like drawing scooters for some reason.

Boomer!

It's no secret that I love zombies, and I love playing Left 4 Dead. I thought it would be fun to make some of pixel art of one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite games. I had fun making this, and I might make some more of these featuring some of the other special infected and characters while I anxiously await Left 4 Dead 2. Nov 17th can't come soon enough. I can't wait to smack away at the zombie hoardes with a frying pan :)
